From support
to leadership
Young parents deserve more than survival. The Alex House Project builds pathways from crisis to stability, from struggle to income, from receiving help to leading others. We believe in the power of comprehensive support, skilled mentorship, and real opportunity.

Oure Story in Brooklyn
The Alex House Project began with a simple belief: young parents deserve real support, not judgment.
Who We Are
Comprehensive support
transforms young families
Comprehensive support
transforms young families
The Alex House Project envisions a world where low-income families receive comprehensive support and young mothers transition successfully into parenthood with access to parenting education, higher education, and employment. We work in Brooklyn because young parents here need more than crisis intervention. They need dignity, skill-building, and a genuine path forward.

Journey
How we built this movement
The Alex House Project started in Brooklyn because young parents here were invisible. Nobody was asking what they needed or believed they could lead.
Listening to young parents
We began by sitting with pregnant and parenting youth, asking hard questions and listening harder. Their answers shaped everything we do.
Building real pathways
We created programs that don't just help families survive. They teach skills, build confidence, and open doors to real income and leadership.
Growing together
Today, young parents who came through our programs are mentoring others, teaching workshops, and leading the organization forward.
